Mentoring and coaching are both powerful tools for personal and professional growth, but they differ in their structure and approach. Understanding these differences can help individuals choose the right path to achieve their goals.
As you embark on a transformative journey of discovery we will explore what needs to shift in your life, ignite a higher level of self-awareness and test out what change feels like and how you can respond positively to take the steps needed.
Valuable personal and professional insights will support your growth and build a mindset of courage and confidence ready for you to stride boldly towards your future.
Embrace this opportunity to learn and grow. Each step you take brings you closer to your potential and ambition.
Coaching sessions open the door to dedicated time and a nurturing environment where you can truly explore your present reality, the options you have to deal with any challenges, barriers or fears and to consider how to move forward to achieve your goal or goals. As a Coach think of me as your "learning buddy" asking thought-provoking questions that empower you to explore your mind and uncover your own solutions. I will bring a positive, growth mindset, encouraging you to say how you feel, explore what you need and to tap into your inner wisdom for ways forward. Each question is an invitation to think deeply, express your thoughts and to feel the emotional response that it brings.
Trust in your abilities, and let your insights lead you forward. The path to achieving your goals is illuminated by your own discoveries, so contact me for an exploratory session.
The International coaching Federation defines coaching as “partnering with clients in a thought provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximise their personal and professional potential”.
There are a number of techniques that can be used, with the GROW
being the one used most often.

Mentoring is a long-term relationship in which an experienced individual, the mentor, provides guidance, advice, and support to a less experienced person, the mentee. The core purpose of mentoring is to foster the mentee's overall development both professionally and personally, by sharing wisdom, experiences, and insights.
Mentors can act as a role model and sounding boards for the mentee, enabling them to build confidence and learn from the mentor's experiences as they support you in illuminating your path and solutions, offering you valuable insights and unwavering support that could unlock the answers you seek. Mentoring
Mentoring is focussed on your career development and specific skills based learning. I draw upon my career as a C-Suite Executive and Board member and my life experiences to guide you, offering ideas and concepts to help you solve a problem, do something new or better, or to tackle difficult or complex projects.

“It's rare to come across a mentor who has a profound impact on both your professional and personal growth. For me, that person is Debbie. I consider myself incredibly lucky to have met her and to have benefited from her guidance. Navigating sensitive and delicate matters requires a special kind of advisor—one you can trust implicitly. Debbie is that person. Her vast experience and genuine personality instantly instill confidence, making it easy to embrace her insights. I cannot recommend her highly enough”
